How long does a repair usually take?

Most cosmetic repairs, such as bumper scuffs or door scrapes, are completed on-site in about 3 hours.

What do you need from me on the day?

Not much at all! We just need a private spot like a driveway, carport, or garage, and access to a standard power point. We’ll also need about 2 metres of space around the damaged area so we can get to every angle of the repair comfortably. For safety reasons, we can’t work on public roads or in underground carparks, but if your place isn’t suitable, we’re more than happy to meet you at a friend's or neighbour’s house instead.

How long until I can drive the vehicle?

Most jobs are ready to drive within 1 hour of completion. We achieve this by using advanced infrared curing systems that harden the clear coat in just 30 minutes. All we recommend is waiting a few days before your next car wash!

What happens if it rains?

Because we use high-quality paints, we need a dry spot to work. If you or a friend, or a neighbour has a carport or a garage we can use, we're good to go. If not, we'll just keep an eye on the forecast and find the next clear day that suits you.

Is the damage ever too much for a mobile repair?

We focus on cosmetic repairs that can be handled on-site without needing a full workshop. A good rule of thumb is that if the damage is roughly the size of an A4 sheet of paper or smaller, we can usually get it sorted for you. If a panel is crushed, a door won't close, or there's major structural damage, that’s when a traditional panel shop is the best choice. If you aren't sure, just send a photo and we'll give you an honest answer.
